That final shindig of the year, New Year’s Eve, is somehow a little more special when it happens at Pensacola Beach. Whether it’s fireworks that suits your fancy, or something a bit on the wilder side, Pensacola Beach has a place for you to celebrate.
Pensacola Beach will offer two chances to see fireworks New Year’s Eve night. The first display will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the Portofino Boardwalk, perfect for families with younger children or those looking to wrap the night up early. For those looking to celebrate throughout the evening, a second fireworks display will begin at midnight on the Gulf Pier.
Kick off 2015 with a fresh start and participate in the Polar Bear Plunge at Pensacola Beach. Many participants wear funky and seasonal costumes, swim suits or regular clothes. Come out to Paradise Bar and Grill at 2 p.m. New Year’s Day and join hundreds of “plungers” walk, dip, run and swim through the Gulf waters.
