On Thursday, several board members of the Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club presented a check in the amount of $4,300 to Capstone Adaptive Learning & Therapy Centers, Inc. of Pensacola to support Capstone families in need. The monies were raised through member contributions at the Big Game Club’s annual Christmas party held last Saturday.
Since its inception in 1970, the Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club has worked to encourage and promote Pensacola, Florida as a sport fishing destination while also supporting the conservation and study of big game fishes. Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club is most notably known for The Pensacola International Billfish Tournament celebrated every 4th of July weekend in downtown Pensacola at the Plaza DeLuna Park.
