Pensacola Children’s Chorus summer camps [podcast]

The Pensacola Children’s Chorus seeks aspiring performers to participate in this summer’s performing arts camps! Students entering grades 1-12 are invited to sing, dance and perform their way through 4 weeks of interactive offerings specifically designed for young artists of all levels. Camps run June 20 through July 31. Each experience provides a week of dynamic learning complete with performances for family and friends.

Find your mark center stage with PCC’s Spotlight Series, a lineup of fast-paced weeklong rehearsal experiences creating fully-staged musicals. Weeks are specifically dedicated to young performers in grades 1-5 and 6-8 – what better way to scratch your onstage “itch” this summer?

Young performers in grades 6-12 are invited to get their feet moving and grooving with PCC’s Dance Intensive. Led by PCC’s multitalented choreographers, participants will receive intensive instruction in a variety of styles, including tap, jazz, musical theatre, and more.

The summer will conclude with Summer Festival, the quintessential PCC camp experience. For new elementary and middle school friends, this one-of-a-kind fusion of choral performance, movement, and music education in a jam-packed, high-energy, fun-filled experience is the best way to wade into all that PCC has to offer.

In conjunction with Summer Festival, PCC is pleased to welcome young people with special needs for Time to Shine, a unique musical experience that caters to children with cognitive, physical, and behavioral exceptionalities. Supported by a grant from the Studer Family Foundation, this experience fuses music education with specialized instruction designed to make children of all abilities find success and have fun!

Spots are limited. Scholarship opportunities and multi-week discounts are available. Pricing varies by camp. For more detailed information by camp, or about the Pensacola Children’s Chorus, please call 850-434-7760 or visit www.pensacolasings.org.
