At Large Seat B: Sam Hall has filed. He has two opponents: Charles Bare, Victor Cross.
District 1: P.C. Wu has filed. There is a rumor of another candidate from the anti-strong mayor camp, but she has yet to step forward.
District 3: Maren Deweese has filed. There are three other prospects that have been mentioned – one is a retired military veteran, the others are PYP members.
District 5: John Jerralds has filed. The chances of him getting an opponent appear to be fading.
District 7: Ronald Townsend has not filed. Jewel Cannada-Wynn has dropped out of the county commission race and has filed. Other candidates include Jimmie Perkins and Robbie Andrews.
The deadline to file is noon, Friday, June 8. The primary is August 14. Run-offs are in the November general election.
