The Pensacola City Council meets today as its Committee of the Whole. An hour has been allotted on the agenda for the Council Executive position. Council President Maren Deweese has given the council two options vote today or vote at special meeting on Thursday before the regular council meeting.
There are four finalists. Neither of the two finalists from July are on the list.
The finalists are:
Tina Snelling,a Houston attorney who has been in the in-house counsel for the Brazos County, Texas since 2007.
Joan Clayton, who served as the Human Resources Manager for the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office from August 2001 to November 2010.
Lisa White, who worked for the Memphis City Council and Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. and is currently the comptroller for Skylight Land in Cape Giradeau, Mo.
Scotty Davis, who has been the Director of Community Services in Florence, SC since 2000.
