Pensacola council committees set

Pensacola Mayor John Fogg on Jan. 10, two days after the new City Council was sworn in, named appointments to the Council’s four standing committees for the 2007-2009 Council term. Also named was a new chairman and vice chairman for the board of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).

Those appointments are:

Finance Committee

  • John Jerralds, chairman
  • John R. Fogg, vice-chairman
  • Jewel Cannada-Wynn
  • John W. “Jack” Nobles
  • Ronald Townsend
  • Michael C. “Mike” Wiggins

Enterprise Operations Committee

Neighborhood Services Committee

  • Ronald Townsend, chairman
  • Mike DeSorbo, vice chairman
  • Sam Hall
  • John Jerralds
  • P.C. Wu

Economic and Community Development Committee

  • Michael C. “Mike” Wiggins, chairman
  • Marty Donovan, vice chairman
  • Jewel Cannada-Wynn
  • Sam Hall

Community Redevelopment Agency

  • Jewel Cannada-Wynn, chairman

(The CRA board is made up of the 10 members of the Pensacola City Council.)
