The Pensacola High IB program made the top 100 in Newsweek magazine’s annual list of the best 1,300 schools in the nation. It is ranked #42 making it the 11th best in Florida behind Suncoast in Riviera Beach (3), Stanton College Prep (5) and Paxon School for Advanced Studies (8) in Jacksonville, Coral Reef in Miami (19), Center for Advanced Technologies in St. Petersburg (22), Eastside in Gainesville (29), Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach (33), Hillsborough in Tampa (34), Pine View School for the Gifted in Osprey (37),and Design & Architecture Sr High in Miami (39).
No Santa Rosa County or Okaloosa County high school made the top 100. The highest ranked Santa Rosa school is Gulf Breeze at #1354!!!
