Pensacola property values drop less than expected

Many people worried that the property values inside the Pensacola city limits would drop 5 to 8 percent. The preliminary valuation report from County Property Appraiser Chris Jones show only a little over 2.6 percent decrease—$84.6 million. The impact on the budget is about $382,000.
