David and Kim Stafford are chairing the Pensacola Relay for Life Event that will be held on Saturday, May 21 at the Community Maritime Park.
Relay for Life is the world’s largest fundraising event in the fight against cancer. More than 4 million people participate in 6,000 events in all 50 states and 24 countries.
Each year, more than 1.6 million people are newly diagnosed with cancer. Relay for Life raises $400 million worldwide to support those with all types of cancer at all ages. With money raised, the American Cancer Society contributes to research for a cure and programs to decrease the burden of cancer on our communities.
