Pensacola Speaks returns at 5 pm today: Pot farms, casinos, D.C. political intrigue and Pensacon up for discussion

House
Pensacola Speaks returns to WCOA 1370 AM after a six-year hiatus. The original popular talk show on WCOA began in 1960, and featured many well known personalities through its history including Don Priest, Dave Pavlock, Russ Minshew, Don Parker and Luke McCoy. The show will run from 5-6 p.m. weekdays.

Pensacola Speaks was integral to the political fabric of Northwest Florida. Listeners were able to hear lively interviews and weigh-in on the issues of the day. Politicians and community leaders listened in to find out the pulse of the community.

It will take a few shows to work out the kinks, test the segments and learn how to run the equipment. However, I’m confident we will have a show that will be informative and will make your drive home from work fun. We will live up to rich history of the program.

Our guests today: Escambia County Commissioner Lumon May, Supervisor of Elections David Stafford and Mike Ensley.

Listeners can call in with questions or comments by calling 478-3116. Like all WCOA’s programming, the show can be heard through the listen live button at www.wcoapensacola.com, or through the WCOA app available at Google play.
