Southeastern Grocers, parent company of Winn-Dixie, announced yesterday that it will close 94 underperforming supermarkets in seven southern states as part of restructuring plan.
“This course of action enables us to continue writing the story for our company and our iconic, heritage banners in the Southeast,†said Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of the company in a statement.
Fortunately, the Pensacola locations are not on the closure list.
