The Pensacola Symphony has three concerts this November: OnStage on Thursday, November 3, Kobrin Plays Brahms on Saturday, November 5, and Symphony in the Square on Sunday, November 6.

OnStage is a unique recital experience set on the stage of the Saenger Theatre. Audience members will sit on stage with the performers for an intimate performance. Masterworks Guest Artist, Alexander Kobrin, will be performing Robert Schumannâs Piano Quintet with members of the Pensacola Symphony: Grace Kim, violin; Molly Hollingsworth, violin; Brian Brown, viola; and Barb Gabriel, cello.
Prior to the performance, join us for our Backstage Pour â a wine tasting featuring select wines that highlight the German homeland of composer Robert Schumann, courtesy of Aragon Wine Market.

Kobrin Plays Brahms â November 5, 2016 · 7:30pm
Our November Masterworks concert, Kobrin Plays Brahms, will open with Carl Emanuel Bachâs Symphony No. 1 in D major and Igor Stravinskyâs Pulcinella Suite. Guest Artist, Alexander Kobrin will join the PSO to perform Johannes Brahmsâ Piano Concerto No. 2.
There will be an open dress rehearsal for this concert beginning at 1:30pm on November 5th. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Palafox entrance of the Saenger Theatre.
Starting at 6:30pm, Dr. Larry Reed will present his âClassical Conversationsâ with guest artist Alexander Kobrin for anyone wishing to learn more about the music prior to the concert. This event is free with your evening concert ticket.

Symphony in the Square â November 6, 2016 · 1:30pm
The Pensacola Symphony performs its annual Symphony in the Square pops concert at the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival beginning at 1:30pm at the Main Stage in Fountain Park. Programing to include music by Aaron Copland, John Williams, Matt Fossa, and more. This event is a free community concert.
