Pensacola Will Light Up the Sky for America’s 250th Birthday

In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, the Pensacola Young Professionals and the Greater Pensacola Chamber are proud to announce the 2026 Pensacola 4th of July Fireworks Show. Organizers are promising a historic community celebration, and they’re calling it the biggest and brightest yet.

Details: The event returns to its beloved home along Bayfront Parkway on Saturday, July 4. It’s free and open to the public, welcoming thousands of residents and visitors to gather along Pensacola Bay for an evening that will be as memorable as the milestone it marks.

America’s 250th Anniversary is a once-in-a-generation moment. Semiquincentennials don’t come around often, and Pensacola intends to make the most of it. As fireworks light up the waterfront, the city will be doing what it does best — bringing people together to celebrate freedom, community pride, and the shared story that connects us all.

This year’s show is made possible through a strong network of community partners and sponsors. The Pensacola Young Professionals and Greater Pensacola Chamber extend sincere thanks to Escambia County, CatCountry 98.7, News Radio 92.3/1620, WEAR ABC 3, the City of Pensacola, Port of Pensacola, Peter Mougey, and American Magic for their continued commitment to this beloved tradition. Their support is what makes an event of this scale possible — and what makes Pensacola the kind of community worth celebrating.

Sponsors Needed

But organizers aren’t done building the team. Businesses and organizations are actively being invited to join as sponsors and community partners. With one of the region’s largest public gatherings as the backdrop, sponsorship opportunities offer high-visibility brand exposure alongside alignment with a truly historic national milestone. Customized partnership packages are available. Interested organizations can reach out directly at fireworks@pensacolayp.com.

Food truck and vendor registration opens April 1, with additional event details — including logistics, programming, and safety information — coming closer to the date.

This July 4th, Pensacola won’t just be celebrating Independence Day. It will be celebrating 250 years of American freedom, and doing it in spectacular fashion along one of the most beautiful waterfronts in the South.
