Well, well, well. Look who’s back from their environmental sabbatical! The City of Pensacola has ready to reinstate curbside recycling.

The city’s commitment to “environmental sustainability” is truly inspiring – so inspiring, in fact, that they needed external funding and expertise to figure out how to pick up recyclables again.

Let’s discuss the fee structure, shall we? Because nothing makes residents more excited about saving the planet than a confusing math problem.

Being eco-conscious will cost you an extra $8 per month.  Want a second trash can? Another $8, please. It’s like a subscription service, but for basic municipal functions.

Mayor D.C. Reeves assures us this collaboration will bring back a “robust and effective recycling program.”
