Pensacolians love their fire and police

City of Pensacola residents gave the Pensacola Fire and Police departments, City Sanitation and City Parks high grades, according to a telephone conducted by the University of West Florida HAAS Center in the last quarter of 2015.

Stormwater infrastructure, city streets and sidewalks, city communications and value for services for city taxes received the lowest grades.

All the grades were in the A- to C+ range.

The City hired the HAAS Center to conduct a similar survey in 2014. The categories were different, including such areas as Economic Health, Housing and Culture.

However, both surveys covered fire, police, sanitation, city appearance and city communications. Pensacola residents are more satisfied with fire, police and sanitation than they were in 2014. City Communications and appearance received lower scores.

Here is the rough draft of the HAAS Center report: Pensacola_Survey_Draft_2015. The City should release the final draft soon.
