The Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) announces Lewis Bear Company featuring Stella Artois as the presenting sponsor and Pensacon as the co-sponsor of the February 21st Gallery Night in Downtown Pensacola.
Organizers of Pensacon have partnered with the DIB to co-sponsor the February Gallery Night, supporting the inaugural Pensacon convention. Pensacon will present several events and themed parties during Gallery Night at various Downtown locations. O’Riley’s Irish Pub will host Pensacon’s Harry Potter Party at 8:00 pm, World of Beer will host the Live Bands and X-Men Party at 9:00 pm, and the Crowne Plaza Grand Hotel will host the Pensacon VIP Meet & Greet beginning at 6:30 pm as well as the DJ Dance Party at 10:00 pm.
“If you enjoy cosplay, theatrics, and performance arts you don’t want to miss February’s Gallery Night. This month’s Gallery Night promises to be one to remember,†said Executive Director of the DIB, Ron Butlin.
The Pensacon convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Pensacola Bay Center in Downtown Pensacola Friday, February 21st through Sunday, February 23rd. The three-day convention will feature guests from Star Wars, The Walking Dead and Battlestar Galactica as well as concerts, gaming events, costume contests and award ceremonies.
Gallery Night is powered by the Downtown Improvement Board and funded by the participating Downtown businesses, Lewis Bear Company featuring Stella Artois, and several co-sponsors. The monthly event takes place from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the streets remain closed until Midnight.
