Perfectly Aged Calendar returns

Local celebrities and philanthropic powerhouses are throwing caution – and some of their clothes – to the wind in the return of Council on Aging of West Florida’s unique fundraising project, the Perfectly Aged Calendar. The project celebrates the beauty and grace of aging by featuring prominent local calendar models aged 50 and up baring their skin and personalities in semi-nude portraits for each month, all in support of Council on Aging’s mission to enhance the lives of older adults.

The first Perfectly Aged calendar fundraiser established this unique project with successful calendars from 2006 through 2009. The updated Perfectly Aged 2024 calendar redefines the conventional calendar concept, capturing portraits of aging gracefully with artistry and playfulness. Each month showcases the charisma and self-confidence of remarkable models, who are all esteemed members of our local community.

Models

Models include Chef Dan Dunn, Dr. Michael Riesberg, McGuire Martin, Peggy Butler, Teri Levin, Frank, Jr. and Gretchen Patti, Chef Dot Chap, Kaipo Robello, Danny and Tonya Zimmern, Jim Reeves, Dr. Elise Gordon, and DeeDee Davis.

“We believe that every stage of life is an opportunity to embrace beauty, strength, and a sense of fun. Our Perfectly Aged calendar is a celebration of the wisdom and confidence that come with age,” said Josh Newby, President/CEO of Council on Aging. “In bringing back this unique fundraiser, we aim to raise awareness to our services and generate support to continue providing essential programs for our senior community.”

The Perfectly Aged calendar and each of the 12 unique portraits will be unveiled at a gala event presented by title sponsor Dr. Michael Riesberg Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the Pensacola Yacht Club. Single tickets are available for $100 each at PerfectlyAged.org. All proceeds from calendar sales and gala will directly benefit Council on Aging’s programs and initiatives that cater to the diverse needs of older adults. These services include Meals on Wheels, adult day care, and congregate dining sites.

The calendar will be available for purchase starting Oct. 19 and will make an excellent gift. With its artistic approach and meaningful purpose, the Perfectly Aged calendar project stands as a testament to the agency’s commitment to promoting positive aging experiences.

The gala event is sponsored by Dr. Michael Riesberg, Home Instead, Bob Tyler Toyota, Ann and Jim Neal, Ray and Valerie Russenberger, Marianne and John McMahon, Levin Rinke Realty, Lois Lepp, Baptist Health Care, Kathleen and Flack Logan, Solaris Healthcare, Brenda Vigodsky, Josh Newby, and John Clark.
