Pilot in Ecuador killing is Fausti

Thanks to faithful readers of the blog. More has been discovered about Brandon Fausti – ex-husband of Tabatha Gonzalez, wife of the suspected killer of Byrd and Melanie Billings.

A follow up article was sent to me on the two men, a Navy sailor and Navy helicopter pilot, that faced court-martial over the beating death of hotel clerk in Ecuador. It identifies the pilot as Lt. Brandon Fausti – father of four. Fausti and the sailor, based at North Island Naval Air Station at Coronado, were in Ecuador following a naval exercise off the South American coast. Tabatha and Brandon Fausti had four children together.

Fausti was convicted of battery and conduct unbecoming an officer. He was fined $1,000 and ordered restricted to base for 30 days.
