PNJ circulation down nearly 32 percent


According to the Gannett Blog, the Pensacola News Journal has seen its weekday circulation drop 31.66 percent from 2000-2010, which is about 19,890 copies. It’s based on data published by the company in annual reports to shareholders.

Across the nation, weekday circulation fell 18% between 2000-2009, according to the Newspaper Association of America trade group.

The pluses for the PNJ are their websites, which has had steady growth in readership and the popular Bella Magazine.
