PNJ evolves

PNJ is reporting that it is moving its printing operations to Mobile. They are outsourcing it to the Mobile Press Register. A combination of 84 full-time and part-time jobs will be eliminated during the transition.

Newsroom, circulation and distribution, advertising, marketing departments and pre-press will remain in Pensacola.

Kevin Doyle says in the article there expanding marketing/advertising services through PNJ Media Solutions – which will offer in addition to advertising in their myriad of publications and pnj.com – direct mail, zip code delivery, digital expansion, consulting, advertising creative, design services, website development and Search Engine Optimization.

Sounds PNJ will be the area’ s newest ad agency.
