I think I figured out how to find the local news on the new pnj.com. Try clicking on News in the top navigation bar, then local. Not sure if this is all the local news in the print edition, but here are the stories online at 7:46 a.m. Sunday:

* Local governments say heavy cuts to nonprofit agencies are likely inevitable, while the agencies warn the negative effects of the cuts could outweigh the savings.

There is a rumor that there is a live webcam of the News Journal’s newsroom, but haven’t found it yet. BTW: the new website is system-wide for Gannett. Jim Hopkins of Gannett blog weighs in on his blog.
