Pensacola historian Alan Manning discussed yesterday on “Pensacola Speaks” his book “Father Lincoln.” He discussed a human side of Abraham Lincoln that has previously been explored by historians.
Manning talked about how he was inspired by “Team of Rivals” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, why he left a successful law career to pursue his passion, and how gathered the material for his book.
