Rick, thank you for your analysis of the School District’s disturbing actions regarding the firing of the Superintendent, and to the other people who wrote very thoughtful comments…
In an interview with WEAR’s Tanner Stewart, Dr. Tim Smith was asked “What do you think ultimately lead to this decision?” Dr. Smith responded ( I paraphrase)… there are 2 mindsets in Escambia County. Group 1 is very happy with where the school district is, and they want it to continue in its current state. Group 2 wants it to be so much more. They want the children to move forward. Is this a viable possibility, and if it is Why?
