On WCOA this morning, School Superintendent Tim Smith discussed the agreements that were approved on Monday and what’s next for Warrington Middle School. Smith said that he talked with the Florida Department of Education about the agreements yesterday afternoon but has not heard from Charter Schools USA.
How did the conversation with DOE go?
Smith replied, “I think the best way to sum it up is – and this is just the nature of the way this is unrolling – they have concerns about a couple specific points and primarily their anticipation on if they will be agreed upon by Charter Schools USA.”
