National Health Center Week
Community Health Northwest Florida celebrated National Health Center Week to showcase the impact of community health centers serving a growing number of patients in Florida and across the country. Nationwide, one in 11 people get medical care from a community health center, including 400,000 veterans, nearly 9 million children and 1.4 million people experiencing homelessness. Community Health takes care of 55,000 people in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Listen here.

CyberSkills2Work Expansion
The University of West Florida Center for Cybersecurity received a $2.5 million grant from the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity Program to expand CyberSkills2Work. Over two years, the expansion will prepare more than 1,520 newly credentialed cybersecurity professionals. Dr. Eman El-Sheikh shares the details. Listen here.
