Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves talks about the recent arrests in the antisemitic vandalism case, building American Magic HQ and his first budget.
Antisemitism:
“At the end of the day, something as calculated as these several instances of this happening, that’s not kids being kids,” said the mayor. “This is something that, in my opinion, needs to be taken seriously. A message needs to be said that we’re not gonna tolerate it.”
American Magic:
“The third grant ($2.9 million) was welcomed news because we can move along faster than we thought to finish it out,” said Mayor D.C. Reeves. “The important point for this particular grant is that it is for the dock and ramp facility that will not only allow American Magic right outside their building to put their boats in the water, but it also will allow us to start having the catalytic impact we want it to have, which is they can host junior tournaments from all over the world.”
