Pres. Bush to speak at 1 p.m.

Bush

GOP worked hard yesterday to be sure the Pensacola Civic Center is filled. Doors open at the Civic Center open at 10:30 am. Downtown Pensacola will probably be completely shutdown by noon and will remain so through at least 2:30 p.m.

In the past, former Congressman Joe Scarborough was the emcee for the president’s visits. This time it is Honor Bell. Politicians you can expect to see on the stage: U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez, U.S. Rep. Jeff Miller, state Reps. Holly Benson, Marty Coley, Dave Murzin and state Sen. Durrell Peaden. Plus, an array of county commissioners and Pensacola City councilmen.
