Puppies on patrol at Pensacola airport

Pensacola International Airport has announced the kick-off of its new customer service program, the Pensacola Pup Patrol, featuring “man’s best friend” and their trained handler sidekicks. The Pensacola Pup Patrol program is an opportunity to enhance the overall customer experience through canine interaction; providing stress relief, comfort, and entertainment to passengers and guests awaiting flights throughout the terminal.

WHERE: Pensacola International Airport, Level 2 Information Desk

The LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) launched a similar program in April 2013. According to AP, Mineta San Jose International Airport was the first to introduce an airport therapy dog in the days after Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
