On Pensacola Speaks yesterday, Quint Studer talked about his hopes for the revival of Springfest. He said the steering committee needs to make a decision over the next 30 days whether they can put the festival on by May 2016. The alternative is to move it to October 2016.
“If we going to go ‘yes,’ we have to make that decision probably anywhere from the next 14 to 28 days,” said Studer.
Studer said he doesn’t want the music festival to be about “heads in beds.” He wants it to be for locals —“those who are in beds here 365 days out of the year.”
