Radio: Hear interview on Markes

Here is my interview with Dianna Fitzgerald, founder of the National Lissencephaly Network, on Erin Markes – 19 year old mother whose has been arrested for criminal neglect after his son, age 4, was admitted to the hospital weighing less than 15 pounds. Markes has a court hearing today at 9 a.m.

According to Northwest Daily News, Assistant State Attorney Will Nelson plans to ask for a continuance at today’s hearing and spend three to four weeks learning about the boy’s condition and medical history. The state attorney’s office still has not formally charged Markes.
