PGA Golfer Joe Durant and professional football players Domenik Hixon, Fred Robbins, and Josh Sitton will walk the runway arm-in-arm with local children fighting cancer on Thursday, April 4 at the Brownsville Community Center at the 2nd annual Rally On the Runway fashion show benefiting the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.
Rally Kids, kids who have fought or are currently fighting cancer, and professional models will walk the runway wearing the latest spring fashions in this high-end fashion show with a huge heart. At the 2018 inaugural event, the Pensacola community raised more than $215,000 to fund lifesaving research and to provide financial assistance for local families fighting childhood cancer.
“We are thrilled to be presenting this event for the second year in a row,†said Cindi Bonner, Director of Rally Pensacola. “These amazing kids go through a difficult journey that no child should ever have to go through. At Rally On the Runway, they get to be the shining stars of our community.â€
This year’s Rally On the Runway features cocktails, gourmet food tastings from local caterers, and a silent auction followed by the fashion show, live auction, and an opportunity for guests to make a lasting impact on children fighting cancer and raise money for better treatments with fewer long term side effects and ultimately cures.
