Real New: PFAS, Santa Rosa boom, Sunday talk shows

Last year, 3M agreed to pay at least $10 billion to water utilities across the United States that had sought compensation for cleanup costs of PFAS, the forever chemical that researchers have linked to testicular and kidney cancers, developmental delays in children, decreased fertility, liver damage and thyroid disease.

The New York Times recently published an article warning users of the chemical to “prepare for a wave of lawsuits? with? potentially ‘astronomical’ costs.”

Levin Papantonio Rafferty partner Wes Bowden says the damage done by these corporations warrants more legal action.

Santa Rosa County has had tremendous success in economic development. Shannon Ogletree has the details.

Full show with Sena Maddison, Wes Bowden, Michelle Ortiz-Miguez, Shannon Ogletree and Karen Travers.
