Real News: Colorado Springs shooting

Five people are known to be dead and many more injured after police say a 22-year-old man walked into the club around midnight on Sunday morning and opened fire using a long gun.

He was taken down by people in the club who fought him and held him until police arrived several minutes later. Medics and police say those heroes inside of the club saved lives by stopping the shooting. It unfolded at Colorado Springs’ only gay nightclub on a weekly drag night. The suspect has a history of issues involving guns and police.
