Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves discusses his trip to Tallahassee to lobby lawmakers and the governor’s office for help with the demolition of Baptist Hospital, a new terminal for the Pensacola International Airport, and the rebuilding of Bay Bluffs Park.
“Our delegation does a great job, but we can’t hope that we’re represented to the same level,” the mayor said. “So I think the mayor of this city always has to attempt to punch above our weight class” And so certainly, we’re over there as often as we can to do that.”
