Real News: MJ, Mint Jubilee, Oysters and more

Falynne Lewing is bringing her show, “Michael Jackson- A THRILLING Tribute!” to the Pensacola Saenger Theatre on Saturday, May 5 at 7 p.m.

Together, with her wonderful and selfless teams of volunteers from Nevada and Florida, she has performed at countless charity events – helping to raise over $1 Million Dollars for various non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Children’s Miracle Network, the Downs Syndrome Network, Nevada Disability Resources, the Journey of Hope, Autism Pensacola, Inc., the Miss America Pageant Scholarship Organization, Upstage Reno, Safe Embrace Women’s Shelter, and the Autism Coalition of Nevada.

LaBelle Performing Arts Studio in Pensacola is Falynne’s Southern crew – 95% of the dancers in the show are from LaBelle – who donates time and energy along with their studio where all rehearsals take place.

Just in time for the Kentucky Derby. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has awarded $24 million for three projects in the Pensacola and Perdido Bay Watersheds. The awards include $10.9 million for the Pensacola Bay Oyster Restoration Initiative, $12.8 million for the Perdido Watershed Initiative, and $300,000 for the EscaRosa Oyster Shell Recycling Program.
