Since its formation in 2015, the Satori Foundation has been about getting disadvantaged groups out on the water, particularly sailing, as a means of boosting confidence and well-being. For at-risk or disadvantaged youth, Satori gives STEM lessons prior to leaving the dock, followed by hands-on during the sail.
