Local celebrities and philanthropic powerhouses are throwing caution – and some of their clothes – to the wind in the return of the Council on Aging of West Florida’s unique fundraising project, the Perfectly Aged Calendar. Emily Echevarria has the details.
Tina Henson previews this weekend’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s — the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
On Walk day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony. During the ceremony, participants will carry flowers of various colors, each color representing their personal connection to the disease.
