The United Nations on Monday launched its 10th Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.  UN Chief Antonio Guterres warned the world that “humanity is just one misunderstanding, one miscalculation away from nuclear annihilation,” citing the war in Ukraine, nuclear threats in Asia and the Middle East, and many other factors.
