Remember the Three Little Pigs

In May, I wrote about how BP cut corners at its Texas City refinery and it cost 15 workers their lives in a 2005 explosion. We got a copy of the infamous Three Little Pigs memo that showed how the cost of human life was factored into making a decision about safety.

The Washington Post is reporting that BP cut corners at the “nightmare” Deepwater Horizon well, too. When the choice was safety or save money, BP went the cheaper route.
