Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran released the committee assignments. State Rep. Clay Ingram will chair the Transportation & Tourism Appropriations Subcommittee and serve as vice chair of Select Committee on Triumph Gulf Coast and Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee. He will also sit on Joint Legislative Budget Commission.
On “Pensacola Speaks” last week, Rep. Frank White talked about the committee assignments he wanted.
“Of course, everybody picks their top three, appropriations, appropriations, appropriations,” he said. “I asked for a mix starting with some healthcare committees- this was done in talking with Representative Ingram and Jayer Williamson and others just to make sure that Northwest Florida had somebody slotted in all the key areas.
Judiciary and Energy & Utilities were the other committees he requested. White landed three Health committees – Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee, Health & Human Services, Health Innovation Subcommittee – and Energy & Utilities Subcommittee.
White and Williamson will join Ingram on the Select Committee on Triumph Gulf Coast.
