The Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida announced yesterday that it has endorsed Mike Hill in his race for the Florida Senate in District 1.
Regarding the endorsement, RLC Florida Chairman Bob White said the following, “For twenty five years the Republican Liberty Caucus has been a strong voice for the principles of limited government, free enterprise and individual liberty within the Republican Party. We believe that less government means more liberty and we work through local chapters and with our member activists all over the country to oppose government excess and demand accountability to the people and the Constitution. We have followed Mike Hill’s career as a member of the Florida House of Representatives and before that, his tenure as President of the Northwest Florida Tea Party. Mike has championed these same principles and values and we are convinced that he is the superior choice for the Florida Senate in District 1â€.
Mike Hill has served in the Florida House since 2013. He is a local State Farm agent and a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with 10 years of active duty service in the Air Force.
