Retired assistant state attorney to be honored at Gulf Coast Kid’s House

Retired ASA, Anne M Patterson is being recognized for her contributions to justice for child victims of abuse on May 27. Ms. Patterson’s son, Michael D Patterson requested the prosecution wing be named for Ms. Patterson after making a substantial donation to GCKH. The State Attorney’s Wing at GCKH will now be called the Anne M Patterson, ASA Justice Wing.

Patterson was critical in opening Gulf Coast Kid’s House and forming the multidisciplinary response offered to children there. Patterson worked with the State Attorney’s Office for over 35 years and remains an active supporter of GCKH.

Retired State Attorney of District One, Bill Eddins, and current District One State Attorney Ginger Bowden Madden will gather with Patterson’s friends, family, and colleagues on May 27 at 4 pm to honor Patterson and her many contributions for child victims of abuse.
