Reviews of Jane’s Addiction, no riots mentioned

JAM Magazine: Edgefest – April 30, 2011, Pizza Hut Park Frisco, TX Jane’s Addiction is an acquired taste. Thousands in attendance danced, sang and cheered a very fit looking Perry Farrell throughout the night….The show started off with suspended aerial dancers and smoke bombs. No bare boobs were present, nor the idiots that form mosh pit rings to throw them selves in to each other with reckless abandon. More–which includes Weezer.

Hollywood Icon Magazine (May 2010): Surrounded by piñatas, sombreros and green, white and red flags in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, JANE’S ADDICTION threw quite a fiesta last night at the intimate Bardot in Hollywood where 150 or so fans and friends squeezed together to experience ….Cheering the band on were actors Joaquin Phoenix and Danny and Chris Masterson, as well as pro-skater Danny Way, along with musician friends Tom Morello, Matt Sorum, Gilby Clarke and Fishbone’s Chris Dowd. And that’s OK by me. Jane’s pulled the plug at the peak of their success, leaving many fans and soon-to-be-fans craving a live show. More….
