Rick Wilson describes Clinton Foundation controversy as ‘turning the state department into a whore house for the Russian Mafia’

GOP political strategist Rick Wilson come on “Pensacola Speaks” yesterday to talk about the controversy involving the Clinton family foundation.

“I would describe it as the appearance of turning the state department into a whore house for the Russian Mafia,” said Wilson. “These people went flat out and they sold Bill Clinton’s influence over Hillary in order to grease a multi-billion dollar deal that benefited Clinton and his cronies in Russia.”

Last week the New York Times broke the story that there were contributions to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. Her agency approved the sale of a uranium company to a Russian interest–as those interests were pouring millions of unreported dollars into the Clinton Family Foundation. Over the weekend, the head of the foundation admitted to making some mistakes in their reporting, but Hillary Clinton issued no statement.

Wilson saw the allegations as nothing new for the Clintons. “This is the kind of thing that the Clintons are famous for. It would be Hillbilly hustler’s, these Arkansas Underwoods (referring to Frank Underwood of “House of Cards), have constantly done this their entire career. They take public banality to an entirely new level that is almost inconceivable by any other public figure–and I count Boss Tweed and any other historically corrupt individual in this list because these people absolutely are for sale.

He said, “It wasn’t good enough to sell the Lincoln bedroom last time, now they’re going to put one of those quarter boxes on the side to make the bed vibrate when you’re there. These folks will do anything for a buck.”
