The Democratic polls are in. Ritchie has 21 point lead over all other candidates. Dem. House Leader Ron Saunders and others are working hard to get DeeDee Ritchie to change her mind. Promises of choice committee assignments, key leadership positions are being showered on her. Campaign monies are ready to be deposited into her campaign account. They’ve done everything but have Alec Baldwin call her.
I still see running is a step backwards for Ritchie, but I can tell you that’s she is tempted to enter the race. She would have to file on Friday…tomorrow. Not sure anybody could lose a 21 point lead in such a short race.
If Ritchie runs, expect former Gov. Jeb Bush to come Pensacola to campaign for the GOP candidate. We might even see John McCain.
