Road trip: Destin Seafood Festival this weekend

Press release: For 37 years, The Destin Seafood Festival has celebrated along the Destin Harbor with fresh local seafood, live music and art for generations. A charming tradition that started over three decades ago with nine women from the Destin Charter Boat Association Women’s Auxiliary hosting a fish fry and selling gumbo from the back of a pick-up truck. The most celebrated free festival in Destin kicks off on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 4:00 PM and wraps up Sunday, October 4, 2015. For more general information on the festival visit www.destinseafoodfestival.org.

A stunning fireworks display will light up the sky to kick off the 37th Destin Seafood Festival on Friday October 2, at 10:00 PM. Watch from anywhere along the harbor or take one of our unforgettable harbor cruises. Enhance the show by wearing our 3D viewing glasses available at HarborWalk Village’s main stage. After the fireworks show, Just Add Fire exhilarates the crowd with a world class fire dancing show.
