Ronald McDonald House celebrates Casual for Kids [podcast]

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida (RMH) is celebrating 25 years of Casual for Kids, formerly Kaps 4 Kids. On Friday, April 29th, thousands along the Gulf Coast will wear their Casual for Kids t-shirt in support of every family who has called RMH home.

Casual for Kids is a day for businesses, groups, and individuals to keep it casual by wearing their Casual for Kids t-shirt, striped socks, or RMH hat. This year’s t-shirt, presented by Gulf Winds Cares Foundation, highlights the 25th anniversary of our longest-running fundraiser. Supporters have the option to purchase t-shirts and socks by donating to Ronald McDonald House through our online store at casualforkids.org or through their team’s captain. Team orders are due on Monday, April 18.

All orders made online or through a team will be available for pick up at Ronald McDonald House from 3pm to 6pm on April 20, 21, and 22 (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). Shipping is available online.

After their 2-month stay at Ronald McDonald House, the Espeseth family never missed participating in Casual for Kids and showing their support for the House. “I always tell everyone that nothing in my life has touched me the way living in that house did. It was such an amazing blessing that we will never forget,” shared Angelica.

By forming a Casual for Kids team and purchasing a t-shirt, you can help keep families close to their child in the hospital. Just one Casual for Kids t-shirt covers a family’s 2-night stay.
