Sacred Heart Foundation recognized by Association for Healthcare Philanthropy as ‘High Performer’

The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) has named the Sacred Heart Foundation a “High Performer” for 2016, one of only 51 so recognized based on analysis of a survey AHP conducted related to FY 2015.

“At Sacred Heart Foundation, we are proud of this honor, but especially proud to have the opportunity every day to do the right thing to ensure that the mission and vision of the Daughters of Charity to serve the sick and the poor remain at the forefront of all of our endeavors,” says Carol Carlan, president of Sacred Heart Foundation.

“Much of the credit for this recognition goes to the community of Northwest Florida for its amazing generosity, compassion and care for those who are coping with life-threatening health issues – from our babies in the NICU and children fighting cancer to adults who are battling cancer, heart disease and other health challenges.”

AHP recognizes high performance based on net production returns in the top 75th percentile. Net production returns are calculated by subtracting total fundraising expenses from total production returns. For FY 2015, being a high performer means that participating organizations raised more than $11.9 million in the U.S.
