Salzman says she has $250K pledge, awaits word from God

State Rep. Michelle Salzman has a fever to run for Matt Gaetz’s vacant congressional seat and has been racking up cell phone minutes seeking campaign donations for the special election. The District 1 state lawmaker cannot accept checks until the election dates are announced and after she files to run.

Yesterday, Salzman tried to push the issue, announcing that she has received $250,000 in commitments. She has God to help her discern whether she would run. Shouldn’t she have done that before she asked for money?

FACEBOOK POST:

“Over a quarter of a million dollars in pledges in two days, and I haven’t even started!

What’s weighing on my mind the most? My constituents…. The people of Northwest Florida. You are my number one priority, and before I make my final decision, I must know it’s best for YOU.

Praying for God’s discernment and to do HIS will above all. Stay tuned… things will be decided very quickly.”
