Mr. Hall,
When council elected to join FRS for elected officials, that included all council members. There is no option to opt out of FRS.

Tom: Am I enrolled in the FRS?
If so, can I disenroll?
I’ve never signed paperwork to my knowledge and I’ve never responded to the letters on what I need to do to get fully vested with a buy-in.
With the budget like it is, I’d prefer not to cost the taxpayer anymore than I do already with my salary.
r/Sam
